Postcard with a deeply faded image/photo of a woman and children stood outside a cottage. Issue “S.7163” it is addressed to “Mrs Howeln, Red Buck Bottage, Little Laver, Nr. Ongar, Essex” and the message reads: “You will be sorry to hear that Bert has is go into the London Hospital to undergo an [inspetcion] for consumption of the glaud. We are full of with trouble I worry. We’re anxious to hear how you + dear Ellie are. When shall our [?] have an end. With love to all from [?]”
