Description:

Folded cover with empty interioir. Stamped on the front with an early Edwardian one-penny stamp with excellent colour and detail. It has a patchy postmark that dates it to 1908, from Lancashire. The cover itself is addressed to “Hugh. D. Jones. Esq. Kingsmead Rd, Oxton, Birkenhead.”

Folded over on itself, the back of the cover (which is folded to make it it partial interior” has an embossed picture of holly and berries, with a bauble on a chain with the word “XMAS” contained therein. A message below reads “With all good Wishes for Christmas and a bright New Year. From: Mr + Mrs Mieller x”
