CG[?] Postcard, “Series G 387”, with a great example of a King Edward VII pale halfpenny from the De La Rue & Co printings. The postcard shows a young lady in a white dress admiering some flowers. It is postmarked as coming from Newcastle, Staffordshire, on July the 1st, 1908. It is address to a “Miss Edith Aston, Shirburn Rd., Seek, Staffs.”. The message reads “June 30th 08 / Dear Edith, I hope this is not like the other I sent. Get your dress finishes so that you can do my blouse. With love to all, Else.”
