Okay Penny Red from plate 95, position AC. Face is offset slightly with some wear. Plate numbers are just readable. Perforations are mostly fine with a few faults. The gum has some discolouration, but is otherwise good with a clear and mostly central watermark. A ex-owner has written the plate number on the back.± The postmark is a poorly stamped duplex. The righthand side can be made out to be a two-part barred numeral cancel as used in London.
Oval barred numeral duplex: ?; ? / 13
Large Crown (Standard)
