Poor example of a plate 134, position SH, Penny Red with severe bottom right offset and significant perforation faults - including a broken lower left corner. The face and gum are clean, although the watermark is faint and itself very offset from centre. The plate number is clear, and the corner letters good.± The postmark consists of a partial circle to the left and a two-part oval barred numeral cancel on the right. The top letter, “W” indicates the Western London district offices.
