Description:

Decent example of a horizontal triplet of King George VI war issue, pale orange, 2d stamps. it includes the left selvedge from a stitched booklet. It must be from panes SG 488c. This one has an unblemished gum, with an obvious inverted watermark. The top edge is imperforate and slightly raggedy - which detracts from its beauty somewhat. The face is good, but is unattractive due to signs of ageing.
