Cat. Value (Adjusted Cat. value adjusted for condition:
Christmas 2020 stamp with a face value of £2.55. It includes the right selvedge and value code “P255 CHR20”, which of course informs us of the value and issue. It shows a delicate and tender image of the Virgin Mary and the Son of God, as illustrated at the Christ Church in Coalville, Leicestershire. This stamp is on the counter sheet with type PB-sL (per Stanley Gibbons) security backing paper (SBP). This is equivalent to the Modern British Philatelic Circle (MBPC) designation SBP2i. A beautiful stamp, this specimen is in perfetc condition. The florescent bands are vibrant, and the colour in general is perfetc. The perforations, backing sheet and selvedge are faultless.
