Cat. Value (Adjusted Cat. value adjusted for condition:
Christmas 2020 stamp with a face value of £1.45. It includes the right selvedge and value code “P145 CHR20”, which of course informs us of the value and issue. It shows the stained glass window of the historic St. James’ Church in Hollowell. This stamp is on the counter sheet with type PB-sL (per Stanley Gibbons) security backing paper (SBP). This is equivalent to the Modern British Philatelic Circle (MBPC) designation SBP2i. This particular stamp is excellent used condition and has practically gone straight from the counter-sheet to storage. The phosphor bands are easy to see under longwave UV, and both the perforations and selvedge are in excellent condition.
